Terms of Service - Admin Panel

These terms of service govern your use of the Brixham Heritage Hub Admin Panel. By using this system, you agree to these terms.

User Responsibilities

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must not share your login details with any other person
• You must notify administrators immediately of any unauthorized access
• You must use a strong password and change it periodically

Content Management

• You must only publish content that you have the right to share
• All content must be accurate and appropriate for the Heritage Hub
• You must respect copyright and intellectual property rights
• Content must not contain any malicious code or scripts
• You must properly categorize and tag your content

Publishing Guidelines

• Content must be relevant to Brixham's heritage and history
• Articles should be well-researched and factually accurate
• Content must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
• Images and media must be properly credited and have necessary permissions
• Users with restricted publishing rights must submit content for approval

Administrative Access

Administrators have additional responsibilities:

• Must review content fairly and promptly
• Should provide constructive feedback when rejecting content
• Must manage user accounts responsibly
• Should maintain system security and integrity
• Must respect user privacy as outlined in the Privacy Policy

Content Ownership

• Content published through the admin panel becomes part of the Brixham Heritage Hub archive
• Authors retain attribution rights for their content
• The Heritage Hub reserves the right to edit, remove, or archive content
• Content may be preserved for historical documentation purposes

System Usage

• The admin panel should only be accessed from secure devices and networks
• Bulk operations should be performed during off-peak hours
• Users should log out after completing their work
• System resources should be used responsibly

Violations and Enforcement

• Violations of these terms may result in account suspension
• Administrators may revoke publishing rights for policy violations
• Serious violations may result in permanent account termination
• All enforcement actions will be documented

Updates to Terms

We may update these terms of service as needed. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
